I'm 13 and some boys my age like me, but I am quite unpopular in school, so I dont really talk to the cute jocks. The ones that like me are ugly and annoying, and boys my age are horny and obnoxious, too obnoxious to like. My friends are always bragging about older boys they flirt with, like, boys 16-19. Just talk simply(I wish I could say the horny thing gets better but from 5th grade on the are horny beast!). Don't try and be like an annoying little sister though (or be careful not to appear like that).
Sounds like you want to be more like your friends. Thats not how to about things. 13 is a tough age and it continues through your teen years. Do yourself a big favor and take some advice, don't try to grow up too fast. Believe me when I tell you that before you know it, you will be wishing you could go back to high school. You mentioned boys your age are only horny and obnoxious, well older boys are just horny. They don't want to be obnoxious because they are horny and being obnoxious doesn't get the girl in bed. Now more than ever, you have to be soooo careful when it comes to anything, especially relationships and boys. Don't let your friends or other girls dictate who you should be seeing or how old they should be. That is for you to decide, not them. That's what makes us all individuals, choice.
